Essential Question: What factors influence trade and why are they so relevant to the salt and gold trade in Africa?
Standard: 6.E.1.1 Explain how conflict, compromise, and negotiation over the availability of resources (natural, human and capital) impacted the economic development of various civilizations, societies and regions (e.g., competition for scarce resources, unequal distribution of wealth and the emergence of powerful trading networks).
Assignment:

3) Open up the Pre-Colonial Africa HyperDoc on Google Classroom
4) Complete the assignment on the Trans-Saharan Trade and turn into Google Classroom (Slide 18)
